A life well lived is my passion, my goal, and my mission, not just for myself, but for you too. A life well lived necessarily goes hand in hand with good mental health.

In March of 2022 I was awarded a HDip with distinction in Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaching at Kingstown College – an ICF and EMCC accredited body.

I went on to study hypnotherapy at the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Academy with bestselling author and celebrity coach and hypnotherapist, Ali Campbell, becoming a member of the Complementary Medical Association.

I have studied Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with Steven C. Hayes, one of the founding members of ACT. I have been awarded the QQI level 6, and I am a certified meditation and mindfulness practitioner.

Additionally, I have studied coaching and NLP with David Key who was the first trainer in the world accredited by the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers and Consultants (APCTC).

At a particularly low point in my life, after some major bereavements, I found myself on the crossroads of ‘What to do now?’ While driving along one day I saw a woman walking her dog. She looked sad, like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. Her face, her aura, was grey, gloomy.

All of a sudden my entire body spoke to me. It said, “I just want to take the pain away”.

Now pain, in life, is a given, a certainty. Friends and loved ones will die. We will most likely suffer some form of illness or injury. We will know, at some stage, rejection and disappointment. This is all the necessary pain of life – the results of getting up and showing up for life, each and every day. This is clean pain.

Few of us know that the rest – the dirty pain we pile up on top of this – is not necessary, and we can live well (better) without it.

Through many links in a long chain of brainstorming, soul-searching, research, and happenstance, I ended up on the website of Kingstown College, and so began the first step in satisfying my deep yearning to help take the unnecessary pain out of living.
